The Somatic Sampler Summit: Many Paths to Healing
Kanjana Hartshorne, LCSW, C-IAYT, RM
About this training
An ND-friendly immersive weekend where you'll experience somatic modalities in your body, connect with fellow therapists, and discover your next career chapter. Explore 11 somatic and holistic modalities and feel into what resonates with your nervous system and your practice. On the virtual panel, see how each clinician approaches the same case- the burnout private practice therapist. At the summit, we dive deeper, and experience each modality in depth. It's great learning that lands and sticks, because you live it. And it's great for your own nervous system support and growing your community. No gatekeeping, and no death by PowerPoint. Choose one or both. The summit starts with optional Kirtan on Thursday night. Each day and every session offers restorative, fun, unique practices for self and client care. 11 Deep-Dive Workshops 60–90 minute experiential sessions with each speaker. Experience every modality in your own body - not just a lecture. 5 Breakout Sessions Choose your own adventure - pick from 5 concurrent breakout sessions (60 min) led by specialized practitioners. Up to 20 Clinical CE Credits ASWB ACE & NBCC approved. PA Psychologists can also get credit. The retreat starts at $597 for the community rate to increase access, along with a handful of scholarships still left. Room & board (vegetarian or vegan tri-doshic ayurvedic meals) are booked through the Himalayan Institute and start at $387 for Thurs-Sun in a shared dorm. These retreat-like summits and conferences are often $1000 for the conference and then almost as much for booking a room and eating in a different city. My hope is that by partnering with the Himalayan Institute, an ashram, we can both support a beautiful community and retreat center and increase access for therapists who want to attend, but have been held back by finances. We also have pay-it-forward options to help balance the community rate. Reach out with any questions!
