Neurodivergent Burnout Strategies
Paula Liub, MSc
About this training
If you work with neurodivergent (ADHD, autistic, PTSD, dyslexic, etc.) clients, you work with burnout. This is for practitioners already familiar and working with neurodivergence (not an intro/awareness training) You might recognise this: your current methods help, but don't fully resolve it. Clients improve, then keep coming back to burnout. Tools that "should" work get resisted, or don't land. You and your client both know systemic issues play a huge role but don't want to feel hopeless against them. And on the more complex cases, you're missing a clear way in. Main outcome: a clear, structured approach to neurodivergent burnout — so you know what's actually going on, and what to do next, instead of guessing or trying everything. You'll walk away able to: • Identify the type of burnout you're working with, including complex or layered presentations • Understand why standard approaches often fall short • Map the overlapping layers (biology, environment, identity, trauma) and prioritise what actually matters • Apply the right intervention at the right time, and use existing tools more effectively • Recognise when to integrate or signpost to other professionals This isn't another training that hands you more tools without context — it's about understanding how everything fits together. Expect real case examples, psychoeducation and resources for your clients, and a clear structure, not overwhelm. No puzzle pieces. No person-first-language. About the trainer: Paula Liub, AuDHDer and a burnout specialist with a background in psychology and a specialism in neurodivergent burnout — working with individuals, organisations, and the practitioners who support them. Full details on dates, structure, and what's covered are at the link below. Can be watched live or via recordings. Sliding scale price and scholarships available.
