About this training
What is a Book Study Hybrid Course? This training is one section of our larger Child-Centered Play Therapy Foundations Book Study, based on Child-Centered Play Therapy by Rise VanFleet and colleagues. It uses a hybrid learning format that combines assigned reading with supplemental learning experiences. Participants read the designated chapters and then either watch a supplemental video or complete an experiential learning activity designed to deepen and apply the material. The training concludes with a multiple-choice exam to assess understanding of the content. Whether you are completing this course as a standalone training or as part of the full 12 CE bundle, we are glad you are here. 📕 Purchase or borrow a copy of Child-Centered Play Therapy. The book is yours to keep and can serve as a valuable resource throughout your play therapy journey. 🎓 Earn 2 APT and 2 NBCC non-contact continuing education hours by reading the assigned chapters, passing the course exam with a score of 80% or higher, and completing the course evaluation. 📚 This course focuses on how to bring parents into CPPT while maintaining appropriate boundaries with the child. This section even includes a supplemental video from Gabrielle Anderson, LMFT, RPT-S™ helping to bring this book section to life.
