5 Simple, Somatic Practices for Therapists, Social Workers, and Caregivers: Practical Tools from Yoga, Mindfulness, Energy Work and More
Kanjana Hartshorne, LCSW, C-IAYT, RM
About this training
This workshop is highly experiential and offers Kanjana Hartshorne's trademark yoga therapy framework for finding practices appropriate to nervous system state. Clinicians and caregivers are often trained to hold space for profound suffering without being given the tools to process the physiological weight of that work. This session addresses that gap directly. Together we will explore the basics of the nervous system, how to assess what state you or your client are in, and how to find accessible practices that are appropriate for that state and feasible for the client's life. Learn the neuroscience and evidence behind gentle movement, guided meditation, energy work, intuitive connection, and spiritual connection in therapy. Participants will leave with a practical, personalized toolkit they can begin using with themselves and their clients immediately.
